GF® PRODUCTS are elastic. However, unprofessional or unusual handling may cause them to tear. Improper storage may result in deformation or damage. The product is not recommended for hypersensitive people, especially those suffering from allergies to rubber or latex. Due to their elasticity and softness, GF® PRODUCTS are easy and pleasant to wear, designed in a universal size (the average size of the human head). With its elasticity, the mask/face fits any head size; however, reasonable care is required to stretch the face/mask to pull it over or down. Ten per cent stretching is standard and sufficient(mp. see the photo - case) If – by accident – you tear or crack the face/mask, you were probably not following the instructions properly, or another person using the face/mask may have damaged it. In case of a tiny defect, you may not want to waste your time with a complaint procedure and may decide to fix the crack with any contact adhesive designed for permeable rubber. The resulting quality of the repair depends on your skills, patience and care. It is recommended to use glue that will not leave a hard, glass-like layer on the surface, while maintaining the elasticity. The best choice is CHEMOPREN, made by HENKEL (designed for absorbent materials). Otherwise, contact us to consult the issue. If the face/mask is too small for you, and the design becomes deformed, you can make a small cut at the rear – on the neck. Careful! (Don’t cut too much, you know.) Make a little circle at the end of the cut, to prevent tearing any further. For minor make-up or adjustments, standard make-up preparations may be used. You may choose to fix the final colour design with hair spray (gently, of course). Don’t fix it on your head. Remember: for make-up jobs, careful work and patience are a must (and prepare the concept before you start doing anything). In terms of maintenance, GF® PRODUCT are made of rubber. It is recommended to store them loose, not squeezed or pressed by other objects. Store the product dry. If the mask is not used as a decoration as well (watch for direct sunlight, though), it should be stored in the dark. Protect GF® FACES or GF® MASKS against direct sunlight, frost, contamination and dust of any type. Avoid any rough handling or moisture (including condensation). Keep the products in a dry room. (Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or frost. The rays of the sun or frost would damage the mask in a couple of days – GF® ecological prevention). As regards hygienic maintenance, clean the face/mask with face cream after every application. Do not dip the GF® PRODUCT but wipe gently with absorbent, soft cotton cloth. Do not apply volatile or aggressive cleaning agents, concentrated detergents or rough materials (scourers, another piece of rubber, leather, etc.) Protect the face/mask against mechanical damage (avoid e.g. any contact with the costume, wig, hat, etc.) The service life is limited. You may use the product for many years providing you follow the the instructions for maintenance and storage – unless you damage it mechanically. If you throw the mask in a dustbin, it will decompose (no residual leftovers). GF® PRODUCTS are manufactured of natural materials so they are different from products made of PVC etc. – they are comparable to cactus or coconut, in fact. The material is live for the period of its service life. Tiny “defects” in the rubber complexion, such as small spots, holes, etc. are intentional. Such "defects" are found upon detailed analysis. From a distance or in a photograph, video etc. they blend with the surroundings, creating the effect of a natural look. Those “defects” help to create a realistic appearance, subduing the homogenous corpse-like look of figures used in textile shop windows.
